CareerSource Florida and Tobacco Free Florida Working Together for a Healthier Florida

CareerSource Florida and Tobacco Free Florida are working together for a healthier Florida.  Tobacco Free Florida understands how essential staff’s daily work is to helping job seekers build better lives. That’s why they are joining with CareerSource Florida to help expand your impact. Thanks to a statewide partnership, CareerSource staff will now be able to refer clients to Florida’s “3 Easy & Free Ways to Quit” cessation services.  Multifaceted in approach, the statewide roll-out features a project tutorial, a Cost Savings calculator, referral forms, and marketing materials as well as a customized, web-based “Cost Savings” landing page that can be shared with clients who agree to briefly discuss their tobacco use with you at the centers.  Please view the project tutorial as soon as possible.

The TNR code would be used for those individuals that use tobacco but do not want a referral and allows us to get a count of the total number of people we have provided outreach on the issue. The other two codes would be used depending on which referral was requested by the individual.
