Staff Kudos ~ Erlinda Risto and Sonia Pacheco

I am tremendously grateful for the services provided by your wonderful staff, especially Erlinda Risto, and all who helped with filing out job applications: Sonia Pacheco, and Steven. The reemployment assistance process, as well as, the generosity for assistance for prevention of homelessness. From the day I entered; after unfortunately losing employment, everything began to improve for the best within a couple of months. Erlinda’s words of encouragement, as well as all other staff working together to help with my reemployment assistance application, and resume improvement: resulted in employment within weeks. Inspiration and miracles happen in this place and around you and your staff every day. All of the resources available has been a foundation to our community, and the genuinely kindhearted as well as, knowledgeable staff, with their teamwork turn difficult situations into positive and hopeful outcome. I’m truly grateful beyond words and I wish that there will always be many more days and years that this institution and staff continue to be a positive resource. ~ Jkem Woodson

Honoring our Veterans

In honor of Veterans Day and our vet staff who serve many of our customers who are veterans, below are photos of our Veterans team. These were taken while each was on Active Duty in the US Military.

Take a look and have fun recognizing who is who (name tags on the uniform give some away). Also take a minute during this week to thank these vet staff as well as all the other veterans who work within our organization.

I have taken two of your Employability Skills Training Seminars, “Professional Interviewing” and “LinkedIn Labs”, and scheduled a few additional classes for the very near future. It is my goal to not only find a rewarding position and join the workforce again soon, but also find a job that provides a comfortable living for me and my family. I believe the tools that I am gaining from these seminars will not only guide me in that right direction, but also strengthen my confidence by being well educated and well prepared. I wanted to take a moment and truly thank you for your time and advice in the seminars you have lead. These seminars are a great start in adjusting one’s sails so we are not working against the wind. I am looking forward to our next seminar together, and should I have any follow-up questions I hope that you don’t mind if I utilize you as knowledgeable resource. – John Varlese Jr.
